Three ornamental shapes & flowing figure

Three small ornamental shapes form a horizontal row above a figure drawn with long, sweeping lines. Each ornament holds a compact pattern, while the figure below is much more open. The change in density gives the two sections different rhythms.

The photograph also shows existing tattoos around the newer linework. Within that setting, the fine outline and the spaces between its curves allow this piece to remain distinct. A small hanging detail at the bottom extends the movement of the figure without filling the surrounding skin.
